Swapping out MongoDB for FerretDB v2.0 (RC)
![]()
MongoDB dominates the NoSQL database world and is often praised for its developer experience, thanks to its mature ecosystem of drivers, libraries and tools. I recently read about a viable alternative, FerretDB, which is nearing its 2.0 release and now includes a compelling set of components. So, I thought I’d do a quick test and see how it performs! For this test, I used the release candidate (RC) version, as the full 2.0 release isn’t quite ready yet.
